摘要: The objectives of the present study were to describe fungal flora conjunctiva in clinically normal dogs southern France and compare from that adjacent skin areas (medial canthus nose). Fifty aged 5 months 13 years investigated for conjunctival flora. Specimens obtained both conjunctivae medial surface nose using sterile cotton-wool swabs a piece carpet, respectively. Identification colonies was achieved recording genus level on basis macro- microscopic features. Fourteen genera (most frequently Alternaria, Cladosporium, Penicillium Aspergillus) isolated fornix 7 (14%). There no significant effect sex or age frequency isolation. Eleven (22%) had positive mycological culture at least one eye. Fungi found might represent transient seeding environment, as suspected other animal species. presence organisms correlated fungi skin.
