摘要: Abstract Monocalcium aluminate, CaAl 2 O 4 , is the main constituent of calcium alumina cements which have found wide applications in refractory industries. In present work, nanoceramic compound was produced by high-energy ball milling oxide powders followed annealing. The phase evolution and microstructural changes during process were investigated means X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy transmission microscopy. results showed that no formed even after 100 h. By subsequent annealing, nucleation growth took place at 1000 °C 2 h. Depending on time, amount increased with increasing annealing temperature. single obtained sample for 100 h subsequently 1200 °C quantitative analysis used to measure phases these processes. average particle diameter milled annealed be less than 100 nm as measured
