摘要: Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer-related deaths in United States. Approximately 40-60% lung patients present with locally advanced or metastatic disease at time diagnosis. development and progression are a multistep process that characterized by abnormal gene protein expressions ultimately to phenotypic change. Glycoproteins have long been recognized play fundamental roles many physiological pathological processes, particularly genesis progression. In order improve survival rate patients, discovery early diagnostic prognostic biomarkers urgently needed. Herein, we reviewed recent technological developments glycoproteomics published data field glycoprotein cancer, discussed their utility limitations for potential cancer. Although numerous papers already acknowledged importance biomarkers, systemic study glycoproteins using glycoproteomic approaches still suboptimal. Recent will provide new platforms identification cancers.
