摘要: Observes that there has been considerable recent interest in evolving forms of network organizations, and notes the suggestion organizations are developing increasingly fuzzy external boundaries as ongoing relationships with subcontractors developed. Identifies a number models have proposed which combine systems theory, resource dependency theory strategic contingencies but little empirical analysis effects an organization’s on its internal relationships, or vice versa. Summarizes briefly theoretical developments literature then reports case study public‐private sector tourism marketing collaborative organizations. Looks at reasons why public private collaborate to market local destination benefits can be obtained from this process when compared in‐house marketing. Concludes studied had developed structures processes characteristics emerging organization.
