摘要: Abstract Helium gas permeability of silicate clay (montmorillonite) particles/epoxy nanocomposites was examined. The incorporation increasing amounts montmorillonite particles reduced the helium permeability. Based on Fick’s law, permeation behavior nanocomposite evaluated. With increase loading, diffusivity decreased, while solubility increased. diffusion is in agreement to numerical results based Hatta–Taya–Eshelby theory. It has been revealed that dispersion nanoscale platelets polymer effective improving barrier property.
