摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter discusses the experimental induction of antibodies to nucleic acids. Antibodies acids have found many uses in specific measurement naturally occurring or modified both solution and situ . To obtain required antibodies, it has been necessary link their components carrier proteins synthetic polypeptides form immunizing complexes, because injection purified alone into normal animals does not stimulate significant antibody production. Once are formed, they react with acid absence carrier. Three procedures for preparing such immunogens described detail this chapter. For ribonucleosides ribonucleotides, most convenient linkage involves periodate oxidation furanose ring bearing adjacent hydroxyl groups; is followed by condensation dialdehyde product lysine amino groups protein. Immunogens prepared covalent The preparation immunogens, nucleotides, also discussed
