Septoplasty and rhinoplasty, a descriptive study

摘要: Abstract Introduction and objectives This is a retrospective study on patients who underwent septoplasty septorhinoplasty at Hospital Dr. Peset in Valencia. Surgical procedures are described results evaluated. Material methods Forty-nine septorhinoplasties 6 rhinoplasties were aesthetic functionally evaluated after surgery. Variables such as type of deformity, age, gender, previous surgery surgical where compared. Fisher exact test was used to find statistic significance between variables. Results Septum remained centered 91% (45) septoplasties. There no statistical septal deviation results. Straight nasal pyramid obtained 76% (42) also this procedure we did not significances deformity final result. Female gender secondary predictive factors worse Conclusion Septopyramidal seeks obtain good function Starting with Cottle's principles, more specific techniques have been developed resolve the different deformities.
