摘要: While monitoring contaminants in osprey (Pandion halieatus L.) upstream and downstream from pulp mills along the Columbia River Thompson Rivers (a tributary to Fraser River) of British Columbia, an unusual pattern organochlorine contamination was observed their eggs that could not be accounted for by known local sources (Whitehead et al. 1993). To test theory a non-local source higher chlorinated dioxins furans, determine if there were any effects these or other on aquatic mustelids, Harding (1998) (1999) analysed 2 resident piscivores: mink (Mustela vison Schreber) river otter (Lontra canadensis Schreber). help identify contaminants, whether through atmospheric deposition liquid effluents, martens (Martes americana Turton), wolverines (Gulo gulo also collected. Both mustelids are entirely terrestrial habitat prey selection.
