摘要: AIM: To investigate the effects of cisapride on intestinal bacterial overgrowth (IBO), and endotoxin translocation, transit permeability in cirrhotic rats. METHODS: All animals were assessed with variables including overgrowth, permeability. Bacterial translocation (BT) was by culture MLN, liver spleen, IBO a jejunal count specific organism, determination 24-hour urinary 99mTc-DTPA excretion measurement distribution 51Cr intestine. RESULTS: found 48% 80% rats respectively none control rats. Urinary BT (22.2 ± 7.8) greater than these without (10.5 2.9). Intestinal (geometric center ratio) significantly delayed (0.31 0.06) further more (0.24 (0.38 0.11). Cirrhotic had higher rates slower time those IBO. It also that closely associated injury barrier. Compared placebo group, cisapride-treated lower bacterial/endotoxin IBO, which increased improved cisapride. CONCLUSION: These results indicate may be attributed to Cisapride accelerates improve might helpful preventing translocation.
