摘要: The strong binding of acridine dyes with DNA was studied by means equilibrium dialysis. Ten derivatives were used to elucidate the effect dye structure on nature binding. In binding, up one molecule per 4–6 nucleotides bound change free energy in 5–9 kcal mol−1. introduction bulky groups 10 or 3,6-positions ring led a marked decrease both association constant and maximum number sites phosphate. These findings suggest that, when is intercalated, located such way that attached produce some steric hindrance
