摘要: Abstract Although the use of force in corrections is a topic interest, little known about factors that influence correctional officers' decisions. In particular, very similarities and differences between male female officers their definitions responses to conflict situations. Interviews were conducted with 192 at large southwestern jail. Using realistic vignette an inmate disobeying direct order, 96 asked perceptions defining responding conflict.
