摘要: Capillary electrophoresis has advanced enormously over the last 10 yr as a tool for DNA sequencing, driven by human and other major genome projects need rapid electrophoresis-based diagnostic tests. These demands have led to capillary machines with multiple capillaries highly parallel analyses, new matrices, sensitive spectrofluorometers, brighter, spectrally distinct fluorescent dyes which label DNA. devices also been engineered onto microchip formats, on both amount sample required analysis speed are increased an order magnitude. This review examines advances made in chip-based microdevices different DNA-based assays developed mutation detection genotype using electrophoresis. automation attendant processes such preparation, PCR, analyte purification reviewed. Together, technological developments provide throughput demanded large genome-sequencing projects.
