摘要: Immune competency is depressed in the perioperative period. The role of anesthetic agents immune reactivity remains unclear. chemotactic migration polymorphonuclear leukocytes (PMNs) to cornea rabbits injured by clove oil was studied. PMNs were previously radiolabeled with tritiated (3H) thymidine. Immediately following injury, entered isolation chambers and breathed either air or containing 10%, 20% 40% nitrous oxide (N2O) for 24 hours. After sacrifice, radioactivity a 10 mm corneal button, removed trephination, determined scintillation counting technique. Peripheral blood obtained hemoglobin, white cell platelet count. N2O dosage affected on cornea. 3H decreased 15.4% 38.8% N2O-exposed rabbits. values did not differ. can suppress chemotaxis rabbit, thereby adversely affecting inflammatory component defense.
