摘要: Abstract More research is needed to further our understanding of posttraumatic stress disorder symptoms (PTSD) and psychiatric co-morbidity following stroke, especially the trajectories such over time. Previous studies suggest that exposure a traumatic experience as stroke not sufficient explain etiology PTSD. Alexithymia may be involved, but its relationships with PTSD remains unclear. This study aims address these knowledge gaps. While in hospital, patients ( n =90) completed questionnaires assessing symptoms, co-morbidity, alexithymia physical disability. were re-assessed approximately 3months post-stroke =78). The severity did change significantly time, while reduced significantly. Alexithymia, particular difficulty identifying feelings, was associated at baseline, after adjusting for these, there no significance post-stroke. We patients' feelings had role play influencing relatively short-term rather than long-term co-morbid symptoms. Alternatively, could interpreted driving alexithymic characteristics.
