摘要: An antioxidant extracted from the bearberry plant ( Arctostaphylos uva - ursi ), particularly for use as a food preservative, and process of extracting it are disclosed. The includes grinding leaves bearberry, mixing ground with ethanol, shaking resulting slurry, filtering evaporating supernatant to dryness dechlorophyllyzing precipitate using silicic acid column hexane mobile phase recovering dechlorophyllyzed extract ethanol phase.
