摘要: Purpose To study in a standard eye model the changes modulation transfer function (MTF) of monofocal intraocular lens (IOL) when phakic IOL (pIOL) is placed anterior chamber, compare MTFs rigid Artisan pIOL and foldable Artiflex pIOL, evaluate temporal evolution MTF after mechanical stress undergoes injected. Setting Fundacion Oftalmologica del Mediterraneo, Valencia, Spain. Methods The values IOLs were calculated from cross-line spread recorded with Opal Vector System. measurements taken using an following British EN-ISO standards 2.0 mm, 3.0 4.0 5.0 mm pupils. A 28.00 diopter (D) Ophtec was used as crystalline lens. 2 pIOLs −9.00 D. Results slightly better than all pupil sizes. Both provided good optics quality compared IOL. injection effect disappeared hours. Conclusions reduced implantation negative chamber. optical performance sizes, shown by values. decrease caused on nullified hours no quality.
