摘要: Background To compare the in vitro optical quality of two new trifocal intraocular lenses at different focal points as a function pupil size. Methods Two having design approaches were evaluated: AT LISA tri 839MP with diffractive design, and FineVision, which combines distinct apodized bifocal profiles resulting three foci. A PMTF bench was used to assess lenses' performance, metrics, through-focus modulation transfer selected; that is, it measured 10 for four apertures (2.0, 3.0, 3.75 4.5 mm). Results For both lenses, curve showed peaks, corresponding far, intermediate near point. At 0.0 D point, FineVision yielded better results larger pupils. −1.5 D performed worse −3.0 D, provided all apertures. However, −3.5 D outperformed pupils. Conclusions The under analysis have peaks correspond points. For sizes, seems provide far points, while not only provides but is also less size-dependent.
