摘要: Light transmission aggregometry (LTA) is the most common method used to assess platelet function. However, there no universal standard for its performance. The Platelet Physiology Subcommittee of Scientific and Standardization Committee (SSC) International Society on Thrombosis Haemostasis formed a working party experts with aim producing series consensus recommendations standardizing LTA. Due lack investigations that directly compared different methodologies perform LTA studies, were insufficient data develop evidence-based guidelines. Therefore, RAND was used, which obtains formal among about appropriateness health care interventions, particularly when scientific evidence absent, scarce and/or heterogeneous. Using this approach, each expert scored as "appropriate", "uncertain" or "inappropriate" statements practice LTA, included pre-analytical variables, blood collection, processing, methodological details, choice agonists evaluation reporting results. After presentation public discussion at SSC meetings, assessments further refined produce final recommendations. Before delivering recommendations, literature review performed using defined search terms Of 1830 potentially relevant studies identified, only 14 publications considered be actually review. Based upon additional information, 6 slightly modified. presented discussed Meeting in Cairo (2010) basis document, subject present report. This article protected by copyright. All rights reserved.
