摘要: Infectious pancreatic necrosis virus of fish, infectious bursal disease chickens, Tellina and oyster bivalve molluscs, drosophila X Drosophila melanogaster are naked icosahedral viruses with an electron microscopic diameter 58 to 60 nm. The genome each these consists two segments double-stranded RNA (molecular weight range between 2.6 x 10(6) 2.2 10(6), the virion, capsid proteins fall into three size class categories (large, medium, small; ranging from 100,000 27,000) as determined by polyacrylamide slab gel electrophoresis. hydrodynamic properties five similar analytical ultracentrifugation laser quasi-elastic, light-scattering spectroscopy. calculated particle weights 55 81 10(6). Tryptic peptide comparisons 125I-labeled virion showed that different other, although there was considerable overlap in maps aquatic viruses, indicting a degree relatedness. Cross-neutralization tests indicated X, necrosis, were other viruses. same test be related. biochemical biophysical cannt included family Reoviridae or any present genera.
