Effects of adjuvant-augmented germling vaccines in turkey poults challenged with Aspergillus fumigatus.

摘要: Turkey poults were vaccinated with combinations of two different germling preparations and three adjuvants (N-acetylmuranyl-L-alanyl-D-isoglutamine, Pasteurella multocida lipopolysaccharide [LPS], avridine) at 1 2 weeks age, their immunity was challenged by sublethal exposure to aerosols Aspergillus fumigatus conidia month age. Fewer turkeys in the groups given vaccines prepared from germlings grown on Dorset's Henley's medium (DH number organisms per gram lung tissue low compared other vaccine after challenge exposure; D&H LPS as adjuvant had less-severe lesions than groups.
