摘要: The supercurrent in a mesoscopic, ballistic, and symmetrically stacked, double superconductor--normal-metal--superconductor (SNS) junction is studied. Our focus to establish the features that are associated with Andreev-level tunneling between two SNS junctions. Both geometry dependence gap function studied analyzed terms of quasiparticle scattering processes. worked out analytically by solving Bogoliubov--de Gennes equation within Andreev approximation. current calculated, following Beenakker van Houten [Phys. Rev. Lett. 66, 3056 (1991)], result found differ from transmission approach. Such discrepancy approaches, however, disappear for single junction. In our result, currents normal regions checked be same.
