摘要: This study examines pre-fitting expectations of hearing aid performance, problems, cost and upkeep, dispenser service by 36 Chinese speaking first-time users (mean age = 66 years). The mean average threshold the group was 54 dB HL. Prior to fitting, participants expected good aided few low service. Expectations about performance in different situations were significantly related each other, as various quality descriptions. specific problems did not correlate. relationship between satisfaction measured at 3 months post-fitting subsequently investigated.
