摘要: Fluorine and human health relation is one of the most debated geomedical issue. The main route exposure to fluorine water consumption. Governmental reports on quality indicated Amparo municipality (Sao Paulo State, southeastern Brazil) as a hazardous area for fluorine. This study focuses natural drinking in prevalence dental fluorosis Amparo. From 2007 2008, concentrations were determined surface water, groundwater, treated domestic use, springs bottled water. Physical-chemical parameters measured field. Water samples filtered (0.45μm) analyzed by ion chromatography. contents ranged from 0.09 0.14 mg L-1 0.01 0.58 Treated yielded 0.48-1.4 interval, which partially exceeds maximum permitted Sao State. Epidemiologic studies have revealed increasing among children 2002 2004 Our clearly indicates that part population consuming with low hence unprotected against caries. Incidence mild related consumption some excess, attesting need continuous public monitoring.
