摘要: Allicin, the main organic allyl sulfur component in garlic, exhibits immune-stimulatory and antitumor properties. Allicin stimulated [3H]thymidine incorporation mouse splenocytes enhanced cell-mediated cytotoxicity human peripheral mononuclear cells. Multiple administration (i.p.) of allicin elicited a marked effect mice inoculated with B-16 melanoma MCA-105 fibrosarcoma. The effects are characterized by bell-shaped curve, i.e. at high, supra-optimal concentrations is less effective or inhibitory. induced activation extracellular signal-regulated kinases 1 2 (ERK1/2) cells, also wild-type Jurkat T-cells. failed to activate ERK1/2 T cells that express p21 ras , which Cys118 was replaced Ser.
