摘要: Abstract High speed dry friction experiments of graphite fiber/Cu-Sn matrix composites against steel were conducted at sliding velocities up to 235 m s−1. The composite samples prepared by the method liquid metal infiltration. It has been determined that coefficient and wear rate depend on amount tin in matrix, orientation fibers relative surface, velocity, grain size degree infiltration within fibers. increase content leads a decrease both due an hardness. Specimens tested with oriented perpendicular surface exhibit better frictional behavior than those parallel surface. Both reach minimum value velocity between about 120 180 Large poor have detrimental effect wear.
