摘要: This work analyses the proliferation/differentiation behaviour of human bone marrow cells cultured in alpha-minimum essential medium supplemented with 10% foetal bovine serum (standard medium) and presence ascorbic acid (AA, 50 microg ml(-1)), beta-glycerophosphate (betaGP, 10 mmol) dexamethasone (Dex, nmol) under selected experimental conditions. Cultures were compared concerning cell morphology, growth, ALP activity ability to form calcium phosphate deposits. Cells growing various conditions proliferated gradually incubation time presented high activity. grown standard either AA or Dex failed betaGP, betaGP + Dex, i.e. a source ions, showed formation mineralised extracellular matrix. The resulted significant induction mineral cultures is agreement previous studies stating reciprocal functionally coupled relationship between proliferation differentiation, containing less proliferative but more differentiated osteoblastic population, as lacking mineralisation process.
