摘要: An investigation studying the effects of storage duration and location on persistence heterotrophic microorganisms in oligotrophic bottled water environments has been completed. One-gallon high-density polyethylene containers stored for up to 16 weeks at temperatures ranging from 2°C >49°C a refrigerator, indoor cabinet, covered porch, car trunk were evaluated microbiological quality. Heterotrophic plate counts (HPCs) 4 × 103 cfu/mL detected porch trunk; whereas, HPCs found not exceed 400 100 bottles cabinets refrigerators, respectively. Containers an enclosed seven years contained HPC 4 × 104 cfu/mL. Logistic Gompertz growth models predicted microbial rates protected environment long (R 2 0.99) short-term 20.86) durations.
