Scalar field cosmologies and the initial spacetime singularity

摘要: The singularity structure of cosmological models whose matter content consists a scalar field with arbitrary non-negative potential is discussed. special case spatially flat FRW spacetime analysed in detail using dynamical systems approach which may readily be generalized to more complicated spacetimes. It shown that for very large and natural class simple regular past asymptotic exists. More specifically, there exists family solutions continuous one-to-one correspondence the exactly integrable massless cosmologies, this being realized by unique approximation. set do not fall into has measure zero. significance result initial-value problem discussed briefly.
