摘要: Abstract Elastic properties of the substrate have profound effect on adhesion and proliferation cells. Here, we introduce a method to produce polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) substrates with stiffness tuned monotonically from 1.67 0.24 MPa, by time UV irradiation adjusted up 5 h. The Young’s modulus (determined using nanoindenter) scales linearly calculated AFM-based force spectroscopy data. Such relation enables determination Young AFM – distance curves also when Herz model is not applicable. Our findings demonstrate that surface PDMS are affected applied methodology tuning elasticity. Finally, colorimetric assay (MTT) carried out for non-malignant (HCV29) cancerous (T24) bladder cancer cells depicted significant contribution elasticity behavior softer demonstrated excellent cytocompatibility whereas stiff one more cell-repellent.
