摘要: Nonhydrolytic reaction of chloride precursors with diisopropylether leads to homogeneous silica−titania and silica nanoparticles, terminated by isopropoxide groups instead hydroxyl groups. Because this unique surface chemistry, the nanoparticles are organophilic, form metastable sols in anhydrous organic solvents, can be used as nanobuilding blocks.
