摘要: Infected wounds are still one of the great challenges in medicine. In last decade, it has become increasingly clear that antimicrobial chemotherapy is limited by spread resistance. Fortunately, new, highly effective antiseptic substances with a broad spectrum available, so local treatment expected to get more important wound therapy. This paper reviews agent polihexanide (polyhexamethylene biguanide, PHMB), most promising available today, from clinical point view, focusing on efficacy, safety and applications.
