摘要: OBJECTIVES To assess the recovery effect of panaxatriol (PT) on myeloid hemopoiesis in radiation injured mice, and analyze underlying mechanism. METHODS This study was carried out Animal Center Shandong University, Jinan, China, during March to September 2006. Forty-five inbred albino mice were separated randomly into 3 groups: control group, + PT group (200 mg/kg/d, weeks). Peripheral blood cells detected by globuli meter, CD34+ bone marrow flow cytometry, protein expression granulocyte-macrophage colony stimulating factor (GM-CSF) immunocytochemistry. RESULTS The numbers peripheral cells, GM-CSF lower than group. After treatment with PT, increased significantly. CONCLUSIONS Panaxatriol can relieve myelosuppression induced injury. The abilities regulating hemopoietic growth promoting maturation may be responsible for some these beneficial effects.
