摘要: [1] Mineralogical and isotopic composition (Sr Nd) of six dust samples, obtained from widely spread ice-coring sites in Greenland, were analyzed order to investigate the regional geographic variability provenance. We show that long-range transport eastern Asian deserts provides mineral with essentially same all elevated interior (Dye 3, Site A, GRIP, NorthGRIP), while most material deposited at located closer edge lower altitude (Hans Tausen Renland) derives proximal source regions. No contribution other sources is apparent any mineralogical each which represents several decades deposition during 17th–18th century. These results provide additional evidence African North American do not play a significant role over has implications for ice core record interpretation atmospheric model validation.
