摘要: Whole-brain dynamic time-resolved computed tomography angiography (CTA) is a technique developed on the new 320-detector row CT scanner capable of generating cerebral angiograms from skull base to vertex. Unlike conventional angiogram, this visualizes pial arterial filling in all vascular territories, thereby providing additional hemodynamic information. Ours was retrospective study consecutive patients with ischemic stroke and M1 middle artery +/−intracranial internal carotid occlusions presenting our center June 2010 undergoing CTA perfusion within 6 hours symptom onset. Leptomeningeal collateral status assessed by determining relative prominence arteries region, rate extent retrograde flow, various topographical patterns filling. Twenty-five were included study. We demonstrate existence following novel properties leptomeningeal collaterals humans: (a) posterior (posterior (PCA)–MCA) dominant collateralization, (b) intra-territorial ‘within MCA region' collaterals, (c) significant variability size, extent, time arteries. also describe simple reliable grading template that, for first CTA, incorporates back-filling as well size
