摘要: Abstract Energy usage is a crucial factor when computing the cost of storing produce. With ever-increasing energy and attention to environmental problems, understanding use exploring saving options becoming priority for economic sector. In this study, effect container design, plastic liners stack orientation on airflow, cooling rate forced air pomegranate fruit were investigated. Electricity was calculated based power ratings driving fan, evaporator compressor fan condenser unit with duration dictated by seven-eighth time (SECT). SECT different package types obtained from experiments. Efficiency electricity measured as ratio produce accomplished total consumed. The differed 1.5-fold between design 1 (CT1) 2 (CT2). Depending (with respect direction airflow) can influence usage. Plastic affected precooling process most, increasing up 3-fold compared stacks no liners. Container high vent-area reduced resistance airflow (RTA) increased (reduced SECT), may offer most economically feasible way reduce during precooling.
