摘要: Background: Alzheimer’s disease (AD) is characterized by progressive neuronal loss in hippocamp. Epidermal neural crest stem cells (EPI-NCSC) can differentiate into neurons, astrocytes and oligodendrocytes. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects transplanting EPI-NCSC AD rat model. Methods: Two weeks after induction injection Amyloid-β 1-40 CA1 area hippocamp, Y-maze single-trial passive avoidance tests were used show deficit learning memory abilities. obtained from vibrissa hair follicle rat, cultured labeled with bromodeoxyuridine. When Alzheimer proved behavioral tests, transplanted CA3 hippocamp staining EPINCSC markers (nestin SOX10) done vitro. Double-labeling immunofluorescence performed survival differentiation grafted cells. Results: We showed that survive produce many neurons a few glial cells, presenting fibrillary acidic protein. Total number granule estimated be more model as compared control group. observed rats hippocampal damage made errors than on Y-maze, when reward locations reversed. Conclusion: Transplanted migrated all areas total cell treatment group equal Transplantation might cholinergic could cure impairment
