摘要: The melastatin (M) transient receptor potential (TRP) channel TRPM4 is selective for monovalent cations and activated by high levels of intracellular Ca2+. broadly distributed may be involved in numerous functions, including electrical conduction the heart, respiratory rhythm, immune response, secretion insulin pancreatic β-cells. significance smooth muscle cell function reviewed here. Several studies indicate that channels are critically important pressure-induced cerebral arterial myocyte depolarization myogenic vasoconstriction as well autoregulation blood flow. Regulation activity cells complex involves release Ca2+ from sarcoplasmic reticulum through inositol 1,4,5-trisphosphate receptors translocation to plasma membrane response protein kinase Cδ. also present colonic, urinary bladder, aortic, interlobar pulmonary renal artery, airway, corpus cavernosum cells, but its regulation these tissues less characterized.
