摘要: Stakeholder involvement and transparency are strongly interrelated. is key to strengthening transparency, while necessary for effective stakeholder involvement. International European legal requirements in environmental decision-making, radiation protection, nuclear safety emergency preparedness response call increasing levels of engagement. However, recent or radiological events demonstrate that engagement practice perceived differently by authorities, media the public. Research conducted this study means a questionnaire sent authorities responsible nuclear/radiological management shows range challenges related during emergency, e.g. fear panic timely proper information. Few countries use full potential tools methods preparedness, although these may also contribute improved transparency. Despite lessons learned enhance management, there room improvement at practical level finding common understanding among stakeholders.
