摘要: Abstract Objective: This study was undertaken to investigate the potential association between prolonged second stage of labor and stress urinary incontinence. Study Design: A retrospective, population-based performed. random, case-controlled sample 85 cases 88 controls identified by means a standard computerized patient database. Subjects were International Classification Diseases, Ninth Revision codes, medical records reviewed. The median follow-up time from delivery 7.8 years for 7.2 controls. Multiple logistic regression performed test an incontinence variables interest. Results: data suggest that all women who labored length first not associated with (odds ratio, 1.07; P = .42; 95% confidence interval, 0.9-1.3). However, forceps significant increase in risk 10.4; .04; 1.2-93.4). Conclusion: Length odds having later diagnosis 10 times higher underwent delivery. (Am J Obstet Gynecol 2001;184:1571-5.)
