摘要: There is a concerted effort by number of public and private groups to identify large set human single-nucleotide polymorphisms1,2 (SNPs). As March 2001, 2.84 million SNPs have been deposited in the database, dbSNP, at National Center for Biotechnology Information ( http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/SNP/ ). The can be grouped into 1.65 non-redundant SNPs. part International SNP Map Working Group, we recently published high-density map genome consisting 1.42 (ref. 3). In addition, numerous are maintained proprietary databases. Our survey more than 1,200 indicates that 80% TSC Washington University candidate polymorphic approximately 50% from these two sources common (with minor allele frequency ≥20%) any given population.
