摘要: • We identified 85 patients in a longitudinal study of dementia who had uncomplicated Alzheimer's disease and whom computed tomography the head psychometric testing were conducted within 6-month period following their entry into study. Thirty-four (40%) leukoaraiosis, which was disproportionately common female (62% vs 15% male patients). Analysis covariance demonstrated relative reduction scores on Extended Scale for Dementia those after adjusting confounding effects age, sex, educational level, duration illness. Leukoaraiosis also much more women, even possible illness, score, hypertension. Multiple regression analysis showed that leukoaraiosis accounted 11.6% variance scores. Leukoaraiosis, together with 18.2% variance. is associated greater degree cognitive impairment disease.
