摘要: Background Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is the most common chronic rheumatological disorder among southern Chinese patients in Hong Kong, with an estimated prevalence of 0.33%–0.35%. The resulting pain, disability, social stress, and isolation contribute to development psychiatric symptoms. Objective authors identify determining factors disorders RA. Method Consecutive RA (N = 200) were recruited from a rheumatology outpatient clinic. Psychiatric diagnosed by psychiatrist using Chinese-bilingual Structured Clinical Interview for DSM–IV Axis I disorders, Patient Research Version. Sociodemographic clinical data subjective health status perceived support also collected. Factors associated occurrence studied multivariate analysis. Results A total 47 current (depressive 14.5%; anxiety 13.0%; schizophrenia, 0.5%). Major depressive generalized commonest mood respectively. Independent predictors poverty poor support. Conclusion Depression are Patients who lack or rely on economic assistance more prone disorders.
