摘要: The importance of ticks and tick-borne diseases small ruminants in China is discussed. Of the 109 species identified to date China, 45 infest ruminants. Five have been proved be involved, or possibly transmission diseases. Anaplasma ovis, Babesia motasi, ovis two unidentified Theileria, recorded China. caused by these organisms are widespread causing great economic losses, estimated at approximately 70 million USD per annum. Anaplasmosis occurs from September March Inner Mongolia during spring other areas. Babesiosis theileriosis occur June northwestern vectors A. Dermacentor nuttalli, Hyalomma asiaticum Rhipicephalus pumilio. These three do not appear transmit transstadially transovarially, but rather through movement partially engorged, infected adult carrier animals. vector very well documented, least Haemaphysalis thought them. qinghaiensis transmits as yet Theileria transstadially. Priorities for future research on summarised.
