摘要: PDZ domains are protein-interaction that often found in multi-domain scaffolding proteins. PDZ-containing scaffolds assemble specific proteins into large molecular complexes at defined locations the cell. In postsynaptic density of neuronal excitatory synapses, such as PSD-95 organize glutamate receptors and their associated signalling determine size strength synapses. also function dynamic trafficking synaptic by assembling cargo for transport motors. As key organizers control protein composition structure, themselves highly regulated synthesis degradation, subcellular distribution post-translational modification.
