摘要: Abstract The aim of this retrospective cohort study was to evaluate the relative amount cancellous bone in mandibular ramus as a predictor lingual fracture patterns after bilateral sagittal split osteotomy (BSSO). including 78 consecutive patients (156 sites). In preoperative cone-beam computed tomographic (CT) scans, volumes and cortical BSSO surgical field were estimated. Patients divided into two groups based on cancellous:cortical ratio. We studied postoperative CT scans for lines subcategorised them according scale (LSS). Generalised linear mixed models (GLMM) estimated association between ratio pattern. There significant angle pattern BSSO. Mandibular angles with relatively small showed significantly more LSS3 (OR = 1.990, 95%CI 1.043 3.796, p = 0.043). These also unfavourable fractures (LSS4), although not (OR = 2.352, 0.748 7.392, p = 0.143). is associated line
