摘要: Drug-induced acute pancreatitis is considered to be a rare diagnosis. The incidence of drug-induced usually estimated from case reports. aim this study was determine the incidence, etiology, and severity during 2-year period in tertiary hospital. conducted as retrospective analysis all cases University Hospital Olomouc (1,432 beds) 2006–2007. All were re-evaluated divided according causative factor. In cases, WHO Probability Scale for evaluation causality relationship used. inclusion criteria met by 170 medical files. There 91 (53%) men 79 (47%) women, mean age 57 years old (5–91 years old). etiology 53% biliary, 31% alcohol-induced, 12% other determined, 4% cause could not established. proportion 5.3% it third most frequent AP. Azathioprine factor (three two patients); drugs documented only single cases: mesalazine, dexamethasone, ramipril, mycophenolate mofetil, cytarabine, valproate. diagnosis seems underestimated because difficulties determining agent need re-evaluation suspected factors. disease more probable younger persons, patients suffering Crohn’s disease.
