摘要: Abstract Glutathione transferase (GT; EC 2.5.1.18) mRNA levels were measured in human liver samples by using mouse and cDNA clones that encode class-mu class-alpha GT. Although all the RNA examined contained GT mRNA, was found only individuals whose peripheral leukocytes expressed activity on substrate trans-stilbene oxide. The clone used to identify a clone, lambda GTH411. amino acid sequence of encoded GTH411 is identical with 23 residues determined for GT-mu isoenzyme shares 76-81% identity rat isoenzymes. inserts hybridize multiple BamHI EcoRI restriction fragments genome. One these hybridizing missing DNA who lack Hybridizations nonoverlapping subfragments suggest there are at least three genes appears be deleted lacking
