摘要: Studying the proteome-the entire set of proteins in cells, tissues, organs and body fluids-is great relevance cancer research, as differential forms are expressed response to specific intrinsic extrinsic signals. Discovering protein signatures/pathways responsible for transformation may lead a better understanding tumor biology more effective diagnosis, prognosis, recurrence therapy. Moreover, can act biomarker or potential drug targets. Hence, it is major importance implement proteomic, particularly mass spectrometric, approaches provide new crucial insights into biology. Recently, spectrometry imaging (MSI) were implemented individual molecular characteristics each while retaining spatial distribution, essential context personalized disease management medicine.
