摘要: It has become clear over the past years that circadian system in all organisms is based on molecular processes within single cells, and an unprecedented surge of research revealed details a transcriptional/translational feedback loop considered as clock works. In spite this excellent progress, central questions are still unanswered: what makes turn with long period? How compensated for extra-and intracellular noise different levels metabolism (e.g., temperature compensation)? do clocks communicate couple how does adapt to changing conditions development, environment, life history or seasons. Although complexity increasing every new insight, it represents fairly simple network. Many decades physiological biochemical unicellular shows, however, highly complex one hand exquisitely other—qualities yet not entirely explained by loop. The results gained can be used understand functioning constraints cell organisms. A comparison between clocks, unicells cells outline general principles apply both.
