摘要: OBJECTIVES To investigate the role of diet and other lifestyle factors in incidence overactive bladder stress incontinence women. Studies have suggested relationships between different aspects symptoms urinary incontinence, but there is a lack firm evidence about their its cause. SUBJECTS AND METHODS A random sample women aged ≥ 40 years living at home took part prospective cohort study. Baseline data on symptoms, were collected from 7046 using postal survey food-frequency questionnaire. Follow-up 6424 1 year later. Logistic regression was used to association food drink consumption with incontinence. RESULTS In multivariate model for onset an bladder, significantly increased risks associated obesity, smoking carbonated drinks, reduced higher vegetables, bread chicken. Obesity drinks also significant risk while risk. CONCLUSIONS Causal associations are confirmed disorders additional suggested. Behavioural modification may be important preventing treating these disorders.
